Day 2 in Maine Continued..... Wildlife Canoe Trip

Hmmm, looks like it is clouding up....

Yep, storm is coming, we are hearing thunder now, good thing it is lunch time.

Storm passed us, so we got back on the river and located a Bald Eagle's nest. (the eagle JUST left.. I never could get any of the birds on film the looney Loon, the diving Osprey).

Well, this time the storm was NOT going to pass us, so this was our home for the next 30-40 minutes.... This also was the last picture of this trip because my camera was wrapped up in a plastic bag and zipped in a plastic case after this picture. We ended up paddling out in the light rain after the thunder and lightening subsided. What a day!!!
Back at the base. This is a creek that ran near the restaurant.
This was done by a local 'chainsaw' artist. Pictures of it developing were in the restaurant.
